This unit of our college plays a significant role in our state, In the year 2014-15 the cadets of this unit of our college won the Championship in First-Aid Competition organized by Barasat St. John’s Ambulance. Fortunately, this year the Nursing Division of this unit became the Champion in St. John’s Ambulance Competition organised by Howrah Association. The previous records of this unit is also bright enough. One such instance is that our college organized a one-day medical camp at Bagandi Jatadhari High School on 5.5.12 and another is the Annual medical camp organised by Rampurhat Railway Adarsh Vidyamandir from 25.12.12 to 31.12.12. It is our college cadets who gave training to the students of Rampurhat School. Again our college cadets attended the camps organised by Howrah Police Commissioner and to add more this year, three of our nursing students got appointment as nursing staff in private nursing homes. St. John Ambulance and Nursing Division organized a seminar entitled “Emergency Services: Scope of St. John Ambulance” on 2009 as a part of its Golden jubilee celebrations.
