The college offers a scope for all round development to the students through its N.C.C. wings. The N.C.C. under 31st Bengal B. N. and 2nd Bengal B. N. at present has 160 male and 52 female cadets. Our cadets are engaged in various social service activities, camps, exchange programmes etc. Some of our cadets have been appointed as officers in Indian Armed Forces, Kolkata and W. B. police service. In 2010 thirty seven cadets appeared at ‘B’ certificate examination and 8 cadets at ‘C’ certificate examination. Two cadets secured A grade or Alpha rank. A boy cadet has completed the training of Associate N.C.C officer. In 2011 – 2012, 2012-2013 sessions our male and female cadets participated in L R D marches in Kolkata and our female contingent received the Best Contingent Award from the Governor of West Bengal. Our N.C.C. Unit annually observes Netaji’s Birth Day, Republic Day and Independence Day in the college. It also observes Anti-Tobacco Day (May 31), Anti­ Drugs Day (June 6) N.C.C. Day (Last Sunday of November) and Anti­ AIDS Day (December 1). Apart from this, Blood Donation Camp is held every December.
