Sports
Annual sports is regularly held where students, teachers and staff members participate. The institution encourages all sorts of sports and games.
The college has taken effective measures so that students can participate in such
Outdoor sporting activities like football, cricket, athletics, weight lifting, power lifting, volleyball, wrestling, kabaddi, bat badminton and gymnastics. In the recent years the college has won good many laurels in different inter-college tournaments at the university level and also district and state level.

GAMES AND SPORTS
Our College has maintained its name and fame in the field of games and sports, especially in football, volleyball, athletics and gymnastics.
Football
Narasinha Dutt College occupies a Place of Pride when it comes to football. Our college football team has been the district champion in the inter-college tournament for the last six years. Beside this, Our College was state champion in the sessions 2011-12 and 2012-13. In 201314, our College came second in the Herambachandra Shield organised by Calcutta University and won the Runners’ Trophy. In the previous year, the students of this college named Surajit Maity, Sk. Juber AN, Supriyo Mukherjee and Sk. Saif AN Mullick took part in Calcutta University Football Team. Supriyo Mukherjee was the captain of Calcutta University Football Team. Again Imran Khan has been adjudged the best player at district level. Now, Imran is playing for Mahamadan Club. In 2013-14, he played with pride for Santosh Trophy. It is a matter of pride that our student, Sk. Faiaz was a member of the under-nineteen Indian Football Team and Sk. Saif AN Mullick became a member of Junior Bengal team.
Gymnastics
We also feel very proud for Rimpa Patra’s achievement in gymnastics at the national level. Rimpa has won six gold medals at the national tournament held in Rajasthan. In addition to this, Rimpa has won the laurel of ‘Miss India’ having obtained the highest score in Miss India Body Building Competition. Volley Ball : In the Volleyball tournament organised by the University of Calcutta, our College had won the Winners’ and Runners’ trophies in 2011-12 and 2012-13 respectively. In 2014-15 also, college played in semifinal. Subhankar Sil, Sourav Majhi and Subham Shau are selected in the Calcutta University Volleyball team. In this context, it is mentioned that Chandan Pramanik, Saurav Majhi and Subham Shau were the members of Howrah District Senior Volleyball State Champion Team. These three Students also took part in Youth and Junior National Volleyball Championship.
Cricket
Our College has also participated in the cricket tournament organised by the University of Calcutta and played at prequarter final.
Power lifting
Our student, Abhilash Ghosh participated in Inter-University Power Lifting Competition as a member of Calcutta University.
Ball Badminton
Our student, Arpita Mondal participated in Ball Badminton Competition as a member of Calcutta University team.
